South Bham is swamped with folk who choose not to support their local team and
go across to the other side of the city to watch their football.
I notice this in the pubs in what was traditional Blues areas. Hall Green, Moseley, Kings Heath,
I have even started to notice a few claret\blue colours creeping into Acocks Grn, Billesley\Y.Wood, shirley
My friends tell me there is even a 'Solihull' bound Bus outside VP after matches
Out shopping i notice loads of B6 tops, hats etc (adults) & there are definitely generally more kids with villa tops around. Even On Fbook, the amount of profiles with Villa badges\photos just seems a lot more than Blues.
In the 80's (& into 90's) we lost a generation of fans
it's sadly happening again. Kids ( unless from a trad Blues family) don't support Blues, why would they?
I see a lot of vile clobber in the gym nowadays ..... it's mainly worn by fat bastards who visit one week and then disappear
