Massive BBC show starring Jason Manford is coming back – and there’s not long to wait
JASON Manford is returning to front another all-singing, all-dancing spectacular.
The comedian is back for another Big Night of Musicals concert with performances from some of the West End’s biggest shows.
The huge event airs on BBC One on Saturday night, with special shows also airing on Radio 2 and online service BBC Sounds.
The concert, broadcast live from Manchester Arena, will including performance from Hamilton, Les Misérables and Mamma Mia!
There are also songs from We Will Rock You, Wicked, Matilda The Musical and Shrek the Musical.
Other shows include Six the Musical, The Bodyguard The Musical, and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King and I.
The show, filmed last month, also features a special performance from Aspects Of Love, starring Michael Ball.
It will air at 7.50pm on Saturday – after Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel – on BBC One.
The stage spectacular serves as a thank you to the National Lottery, which funded arts projects and theatres during the pandemic.
Jason, 41, said: “I’m thrilled to be back hosting The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals for another year.
“It was incredible to see so many amazing shows under one roof last year.
“With completely different shows set to perform this year, it’s guaranteed to be another cracker of a night!”
