I went to one of the UK’s cheapest charity shops where nearly everything is £1 – and it’s even less for kids
A KEEN secondhand shopper has revealed one of the UK’s cheapest charity shops – with some items on sale for as little as 20p.
Francesca shared a glimpse inside the huge Barnardo’s charity shop at Ashton Under Lyne in Greater Manchester.
She also shared some of the bargains available, including shoes for £1 and kids’ clothes for just 20p.
Known online as @francescacharityshop, the pro-thrifter regularly shares her bargain hauls and tours around her favourite charity shops with her 54,500 followers.
In a new TikTok, she said: “Come to the £1 charity shop with me.
“I couldn’t believe some of the absolute bargains I managed to find here.
“Children’s clothes for 20p each. Shoes, £1 or less.
“This vintage brown trench coat is exactly what I’ve been looking for and it’s only £2.50.”
During the 24-second video, Francesca is seen excitedly running into the huge secondhand store.
Once inside, she shared a glimpse at the four huge aisles, selling a range of books, homeware, clothing, and kids’ toys.
She also revealed some of the stock on offer, including brand-new kids’ jelly shoes from Next, a pair of women’s sparkly heeled boots, and an embellished crop top.
Fans loved the glimpse inside the huge warehouse, with the video gaining more than 9,536 likes and 350,400 views.
In the comments, other TikTok users shared their reactions, with one writing: “I love picking up bargains from a charity shop! Barnardo’s is amazing!”
