Several Congress leaders and workers were detained during the 'Sankalp Satyagrah' agitation in Gujarat against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as MP following his conviction in a defamation case. The state Congress chief, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and a senior leader along with party workers were detained by police when they arrived at Lal Darwaza for protesting.
