DWP benefit payment dates over Easter 2023 – from Universal Credit to PIP
There are many different reasons to look forward to Easter.
For some, it’s all about the chocolate. For others, it’s just nice to have an extra long Bank Holiday weekend.
With the clocks brought forward and spring having been sprung, the four-day weekend could see warmer weather. Perfect for a spot of gardening or time spent outdoors with friends.
However, the cost of living crisis continues to impact households across the country, and many might be worrying about the cost of Easter. Do you turn down invitations from your friends if you’re worried about your bank account?
Fortunately, the Departments of Work and Pensions (DWP) factor in the public holidays so people aren’t stretching out payments when the banks close.
When are the benefit payments this Easter?

- Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

- Income Support
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Pension Credit
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
