I thought I bought german shepherd puppy but was duped by breeder – I’m doing DNA test after being told she’s wolf-like
A WOMAN who thought she had bought a german shepherd puppy discovered she was scammed by the breeder.
TikToker Grace Hyland said she plans to have a DNA test for her adorable pooch Luma after she was told she may be wolf-like.
In a video shared on TikTok, Grace explained that she thought she was buying a german shepherd but instead people started pointing out that her new pup looked like a mongrel.
And even though it’s not what she had in mind, Grace says that she loves Luma “no matter what.”
She said: “I thought I was getting a German Shepherd.
“But I think I got scammed because people say she looks like a mongrel dog.
“Instead of replacing her or getting upset I give her the german shepherd treatment.
“And I embrace her unique coat and big brown eyes.
“She is such a beautiful little girl and she gives me so much love and cuddles.”
In another video, Grace explained how she got Luma and said that no one has been able to determine what breed she is.
The Tiktoker said she is planning to have a DNA test to determine Luma’s breed but she thinks “it looks painful” and decided to wait “until she gets fixed.”
She said: “The truth is that a man’s dog got pregnant and he listed her as a german shepherd cross rottweiler.
“He deleted the listing the day after I took her home so I can’t contact him.”
Tiktokers had different theories about Luma’s breed but many seemed to agree that she had something of a wolfhound.
One said: “She definitely has german shepherd but I’m thinking maybe some distant wolf hound with her coat and how lanky she is.”
Someone else added: “definitely looks part wolfhound.”
Another one said: “She looks like an Irish wolfhound mix.”
A TikToker said: “Defo got a bit of german shepherd but wolfhound as well.”
