Blues Women

They were in my neck of the woods today playing Coventry United at the Butts Arena so we went along.

A 1-0 win which understated our superiority over the bottom team but having not been to a women’s game since well before Covid I was amazed at the standard! Our midfield in particular were really good with Christie Murray looking a cut above the rest.

Up front Jade Pennock was also a star

Good for the future as long as the club can continue financing a women’s team.
