SOFTBALL DROPS SERIES FINALE AT HOFSTRA

Hofstra combined to throw a complete-game shutout and rode a two-run homer in the first inning to a 3-0 victory over the Monmouth softball team in the final game of this weekend's CAA series on Sunday afternoon at Bill Edwards Stadium.
