Coronation Street spoilers latest – Daisy’s wedding day plagued by tragedy as she’s subjected to horrific acid attack

CORONATION Street’s harrowing stalker storyline will come to a head tonight in a heartbreaking episode for a Weatherfield favourite.

The hit ITV soap has worked closely with model Katie Piper who, in 2008, was the victim of a vicious acid attack which left her with extensive injuries aged 24.

And in tonight’s heartbreaking Coronation Street episode, Justin Rutherford is set to target Daisy Midgeley as she prepares for her wedding to Daniel Osbourne- with the bride-to-bed subjected to a horrific acid attack in the Rovers.

Speaking of the brutal on-screen attack, Justin actor Andrew Still said: “It felt really disgusting to go through with that action and I spoke about that with Charlie on the day as well. It’s an incredibly evil and nasty thing to do. It is horrible but hopefully that translates well on screen.”

Coronation Street airs tonight at 8pm on ITV and ITVX.
