Amazon Prime fans ‘crying, screaming and having panic attacks’ watching terrifying movie The Devil Made Me Do It
AMAZON Prime fans have been left “screaming” and “having panic attacks” after watching The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.
The 2021 American supernatural horror has forced some viewers to break down in tears after being scared witless.
When an 11-year-old boy shows signs of being possessed by the Devil, famed demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren concludes he needs an exorcism.
But the released demons are at the heart of one of America’s most shocking murder cases.
The 112 minute film has proven to be a little too much for some viewers to stomach.
One distressed person wrote: “Watching the Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and thinking about how the first time I watched it was on a plane coming back to Texas and I screamed and the guy sitting by me looked like he was going to have a literal heart attack. Good times.”
Another posted: “Saw The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. 10/10, best thing ever. I did have a panic attack within 5 minutes of the start, because of loud noises. It was really good though.”
“Not me crying while watching The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Lmaooooo,” an emotional viewer tweeted.
A fourth said: “The Conjuring The Devil Made Me Do It (2021): Almost started crying at the end, might be the best out of the three conjuring movies. I’m writing this before the credits roll and I did, in fact, cry for the last scene. 8/10. I love the fake Warren’s.”
Another terrified person shared: “Finished watching #Conjuring3 #TheDevilMadeMeDoIt and I can’t sleep now..”
The film is streaming on Prime in UK, Netflix in the US.
This isn’t the only film that has recently given streaming users nightmares.
Netflix fans have been left “terrified” and “wetting themselves” after watching horror movie Run.
The film stars Hollywood actress Sarah Paulson as the deranged mother of disabled homeschooled teenager Chloe Sherman, played by Kiera Allen.
Desiring freedom after years of isolated medical care, Chloe suspects her mother might be holding her back — and harbouring sinister secrets.
Netflix fans struggled to sit through 90 minutes of tense drama, with some saying it sent their “anxiety through the roof”.
While Spanish film Voces, or Don’t Listen as it’s billed in the UK, has been giving audiences nightmares.
Those who have watched a terrifying new horror film have warned others not to view it alone.
