While Varinder Singh was brought to Assam on Monday, the other seven, including Amritpal's uncle Harjit Singh, were brought in the past one week. The Dibrugarh jail in Upper Assam has multi-layer security. While the elite Black Panther commandos of Assam Police are maintaining internal security, the inner security is handled by the CRPF, Assam Police and prison guards.
