Our city has changed a great deal since hosting the
Winter Olympics in
1988. We have almost a million more people living in Calgary than we did 35 years ago. We pay about six times more for a single family house than we did back then. Some things remain the same, however. Hope springs eternal for the Flames and a playoff season. Check out this video for a look back at some other comparisons, now and then.
