I’m a savvy shopper – 9 new items in Poundland you should buy now including a dupe that’s 85% cheaper than anywhere else
A SAVVY shopper has shared the nine items that everyone should be running to Poundland to buy to save major cash.
And while there’s plenty of great deals on offer in store, one of the products is better than most as it saves customers a whopping 85% on average to another retailer.
Bargain hunters were thrilled when TikTok account Latest Deals uploaded a video dedicated to what they should be buying at Poundland this month and beyond.
In it, they ran through their top nine items people should add to their shopping lists and lifted the lid on their amazing price.
First up, they highlighted two Kennerton Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol Easter eggs that are perfect for parents looking to bag cheap goodies for the upcoming celebration.
The small milk chocolate egg, which also includes a chocolate bar, is just a “bargain” £1 – whereas the exact same brand is on sale for £1.25 in Sainsbury’s.
Next, they showed a wooden desk calendar organiser for £2, which was hailed “awesome” but one happy customer in the comment section of the clip.
Elsewhere in the aisles, Latest Deals picked up a £1 box of Guylian chocolates and a gin slogan white mug for just £1.50.
They also pointed out crafting goodies from £1, which are perfect for Easter craft with the kids.
But that wasn’t all.
A £1 travel cutlery set which are “handy for lunches on the go” and a cute Unicorn headband for £1, which would set Claire’s Accessories customers back around £4, also got a mention.
However, the big money savings come from their clothes collection.
Poundland Pep & Co white style Crocs dupes look just as comfy, but cost just £5, whereas the real deal costs upwards of £32.99 on the official Crocs website.
That’s a gigantic difference of 85% and saves Poundland customers £27.99.
Meanwhile, a kids’ Tom & Jerry themed gilet that Poundland customers can take home for £8, with similar cartoon printed gilets retailing for around £17.99 in places like H&M.
However, Latest Deals also singled out one buy as one to avoid, as they said it was quite expensive in comparison to the usual price.
They held up a colourful box of Cadbury’s Easter eggs.
Inside, there were 2 classic Creme Eggs, 2 caramel eggs and a white Creme Egg.
They explained: “A pack of five Cadbury eggs for £2.50.
“Ouch, that’s quite an expensive one!”
