Woman pedestrian in her 40s killed in horror crash as cops arrest three people

A WOMAN is dead and three people have been arrested after a pedestrian died in a car collision yesterday evening.

Emergency services were called to Kennedy Way in Somerset at around 5.40pm yesterday evening.

Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, a woman in her 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

All have been remanded in police custody.

Cops are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a blue Ford driving in the area.
