• Ranger Suárez (left elbow strain)
• Status: 15-day injured list
• Suárez was sent home early from Team Venezuela with forearm tightness on March 10 and recently suffered a setback that will keep him out of the rotation for at least the first two weeks of the season. As of March 25, he has been cleared to play catch, according to Alex Coffey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Suárez does not know when his first bullpen session will take place. • Bryce Harper (recovery from right elbow reconstruction/repair)
• Status: 10-day injured list — Aiming for late May return
• The Phillies specifically chose not to place Bryce Harper on the 60-day injured list because there’s a possibility the Phillies slugger could be ready to return to the lineup by the end of May. He’s currently in the soft toss phase of his rehab with the next step being taking batting practice in the cages. (Last Updated March 30) — Destiny Lugardo

• Cristopher Sánchez (left triceps strain)
• Status: 15-day injured list
• Rob Thomson recently said that Sánchez’s March 22 bullpen session was one of the best he’s seen him throw. That’s a good sign since the starting rotation depth is thin. His last spring outing was March 14. (Last Updated March 30) — Destiny Lugardo

• Nick Nelson (left hamstring strain)
• Status: 15-day injured list
• MLB.com reported on March 22 that Nelson was playing catch from 120 feet. He was one of the many arms the Phillies said was in competition to win the No. 5 spot in the rotation. Nelson last pitched in a game on March 9 and was shut down from throwing a few days later when an MRI revealed he had a moderate hamstring strain. (Last Updated March 30) — Destiny Lugardo

• Noah Song (low back strain)
• Status: 15-day injured list
• The Phillies will retain Rule 5 pick Noah Song for the time being since he will start the season on the injured list. He was shut down from throwing on March 11 with back tightness. Song was reinstated from the military list, added to the 40-man roster and placed on the 15-day injured list. Rafael Marchan (right hamate fracture) was placed on the 60-day IL to make room for Song. • Rhys Hoskins (torn ACL) 
• Status: 60-day injured list — Most likely Out for Season 
• The Phillies first baseman sustained the injury attempting to field a high chopper at first base during a March 23 spring training game against the Detroit Tigers. Hours later, an MRI revealed that Hoskins tore the ACL in his left knee. He will undergo surgery on Opening Day. He’ll be out for around seven months. (Last Updated March 30) – Destiny Lugardo

• Andrew Painter (right UCL sprain)
• Status: — Aiming for midsummer return
• President of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski told Marcus Hayes of the Philadelphia Inquirer that he is hopeful Painter will begin throwing from 30 feet within the first few days of the season. He’ll then progress to 60 feet and then 90 feet if all goes well. Painter reported elbow tenderness after his first and only Grapefruit League outing against the Minnesota Twins on March 1. He does not need to be placed on the major league injured list since he is not on the 40-man roster. (Last Updated March 30) — Destiny Lugardo
