Tiburon police arrest suspect in fentanyl case
A driver found passed out in his vehicle in Tiburon was arrested on suspicion of drug possession for sale, police said.
The incident happened at about 7 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Tiburon Boulevard and Beach Road. Police found the unconscious man with the vehicle in reverse gear and his foot on the brake.
A search revealed nearly half an ounce of suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, according to the Tiburon Police Department.
Police booked Nicholas Aiden Swyers, 25, of Mesa, Arizona, on several drug-related counts. He remained in custody at the Marin County Jail on Thursday in lieu of $30,000 bail.
