Good Good Friday

0

Hello Friends,

Light N-NW wind and a 1.6 metre 11-second period SSE swell for Good Friday morning. Needless to say it was looking pretty busy at the Dee Why end of the beach and at the point. Sets looked to be in the chest to shoulder high with maybe the odd bomb nudging into the head plus range. The first tide of the day is a 1.6m high just before 0900. We’re back to a lowish 0.4 m at 1500. Water is clean and the ocean temp has ticked up to 23 – a shade under the predicted high for Friday’s weather of 24. It should be partly cloudy with a high chance of showers and a good possibility of thunderstorms. The wind should stay NW and pick up into the 15-25 kt range as the day goes along, so the comparatively smooth surface conditions in the south corners this morning won’t last.

Wondering about the rest of the holiday weekend and beyond? Then check out the Mighty Goat’s words of surf wisdom.

Have a great day!

Seriously busy  at 0730
