I haven’t shaved my body for four years – trolls say it’s gross but I don’t care and wait until they see my forest
WHILE many women will regularly reach for a razor or wax strips to keep their skin silky soft and hair-free, one woman has revealed that she hasn’t shaved her body for the last four years and doesn’t care what people think.
Known on social media as @ditchtheblade, the brunette woman revealed that she has let her leg, armpits and pubic hair grow.
She explained that it’s normal to have body hair and so doesn’t care if people think it’s gross.
Taking to TikTok, she said: “I haven’t shaved any part of my body for three or four years now.
“I haven’t trimmed anything, I haven’t shaved anything, I haven’t waxed anything.
“It’s been a long time so I’m sure you can imagine the forest that I have.”
In one clip, the woman responded to a comment that read: “No offence but that’s gross.”
In response to the cruel message from a troll, the social media user showed off her armpit hair and clapped back.
She replied: “I’m honestly not offended in the slightest – you totally have a right to your opinion and I can’t really change that but I’m on here to show that it’s ok to grow out your body hair and it’s a normal and natural thing to have.
“I don’t care about other people’s opinions.”
Her clip has clearly shocked many, as it has quickly amassed 37.5k views.
It has 1,591 likes, 78 comments and 25 shares.
Many social media users took to the comments to praise the woman for not adhering to beauty standards.
One person said: “Go you! You rock!”
Another added: “I don’t care. You’re frickin adorable just the way you are!”
A third commented: “No offence but this is awesome.”
Someone else asked: “Are you going to show the jungle?”.
In a follow-up clip, in response to a comment that read: “Love the jungle”, the woman filmed herself in a black swimsuit, showing off her pubic hair.
She explained: “You know, it genuinely makes me so happy to know that there’s a lot of guys, a lot, who really want to be my Tarzan, and just explore my jungle, and that’s amazing.
“And I’m so happy to know that so many men are like that, hell yeah.”
