Football hooligans accidentally target their OWN team’s bus with rocks leaving window shattered and players shocked
FOOTBALL hooligans have accidentally pelted their own team’s bus with rocks, leaving windows shattered and players in shock.
Fans of Tigre in Argentina are responsible for the attack.
The club were playing Brazilian side Sao Paulo in the group stage of the Copa Sudermericana, the South American equivalent of the Europa League.
On the hosts’ arrival at their stadium in Buenos Aires, the coach carrying the squad and staff was hit by objects.
Tigre supporters tried to target the visitors but got the buses confused.
Midfielder Agustin Cardozo took to Instagram to rage at his own fans after the attack.
He uploaded a picture of him holding a stone on the team bus and of the smashed window next to him.
Cardozo captioned the post: “Check yourselves, it’s us.”
Fans could not believe it, one said: “Use your brains.”
Another reacted: “I mean you can’t make this s*** up.”

Sao Paulo won the match last night 2-0.
Trouble was expected after they met in the Copa Sudermericana final in 2012.
The Brazilians were handed victory back then after Tigre refused to play the second-half.
A brawl occurred just before half-time, which led to them allegedly being threatened by armed police in the dressing room.
