‘Darling’ mum, 28, killed in horror crash that left her son, 4, in a critical condition as family pay tribute
A WOMAN who was tragically killed in a horror smash that left her four-year-old son in a critical condition has today been remembered as beautiful “inside and out”.
Emma Louise Morris, 28, died after the crash unfolded on the A487 in the county of Gwynedd, on Monday 3 April.
A four-year-old boy – understood to be Emma’s son – was also involved in the crash.
He remains in a critical but stable condition.
Emma’s parents said that their “beautiful daughter has been cruelly taken from [them] – and too soon”.
In a devastating tribute, the family said: “At just 28 years old, our darling girl had so much more life to live”.
The fatal crash happened at around 7pm on Monday.
Police say the collision involved a dark grey Audi A3 saloon, a BMW 1 series, a Peugeot 208 and a Skoda Octavia.
Ms Morris, behind the wheel of the Peugeot, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman was airlifted to Stoke Hospital with serious injuries and two further people were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with serious injuries.
Her parents went on to say that Emma was “beautiful inside and out and will leave an enormous void in all of our lives”.
“We are very grateful for all the kind words received from family and friends but we would ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time and we will not issue any further comment.
“We continue to monitor our grandson who remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital. We pray that he will heal soon.”
North Wales Police are appealing to anyone driving along the A487 between 6.30pm and 7pm who may have seen the collision or have dashcam footage to get in touch with them.
