Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter, during an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom, called Russian President Vladimir Putin a master of winning.
“Putin is a master at winning. Sometimes it takes patience to win, as well as the ability not to fall into a trap and not to do rash things,” he said. – A lot of people don’t understand that Russia doesn’t work for the calendar, but for results.
To back up his words, Ritter pointed to how the Russian military successfully carried out its tasks of liberating Syrian territories from terrorist groups.
“They mopped up everything and pushed them [the terrorists] back north <…>. This is what is called victory,” he noted.
