I wear baddie outfits to church – some people say it’s inappropriate but what am I gonna do with all these curves
A WOMAN’S wardrobe choices for her church visit have divided opinions.
While some expressed their disapproval, the TikTok user expressed nothing but delight at her Sunday fashion.
Milo (@milokortez) certainly made for a striking figure when she unveiled her style.
But she was also aware that it had the potential to get people talking.
“Wearing my baddie outfits to church,” she said in her post.
She wore a pair of leather-look skinny trousers and a midriff-bearing bright pink patterned top.
On her feet were a pair of vertiginous pink heels and she slung a silver bag over her shoulder.
It was an uber-glamorous look.
“I’m going to church and it starts at ten,” she said as she waited for her taxi.
But it was going to be a short journey.
“I’m waiting for my Uber to take me to church.
“By the way church is like right next door. But it’s too far, can’t walk there,” she wrote.
Twisting and spinning to see her reflection, she appeared very pleased with her outfit.
“I think it’s cute man,” was her verdict.
She understood, however, that it might be a very different reception at the church.
“I don’t know how people are going to react at church, but I’m not going to wear them in a bad way,” she said.
“I think it’s going to work,” she said, before adding, “Cause what am I going to do with all these curves.”
Anyway, she anticipated any criticism would be withheld once she was there.
“I’m just going to wear them to church. They can’t judge me because we’re in church,” she rationalized.
Comments to her post were not shy of holding forth:
“Inapproprite for church,” was the opinion of one viewer and was repeated several times.
Including this one: “It’s inappropriate dear, but it’s nice though, it suits you.”
But there were others who liked it.
“It’s perfectly fine,” was the brief appraisal of this follower.
The final comment liked it too, but had a suggestion to make it more acceptable for churchgoers: “It’s fine but a long blazer on top would have been proper,” she reasoned.
