I transformed my old and gross tiny home – we replaced everything from the floors to the electrics, it’s beautiful now
A WOMAN and her husband decided to redo their “gross” tiny home and they transformed it into a “gorgeous” modern living space.
The realtor has an eye for detail and beautiful homes and after spending her time helping people find their dream home, she knew it was time to change hers.
Amber Carpenter (@ambercarpenter830) regularly posts on TikTok about her life as an estate agent.
She shared with followers her latest passion project that she worked on with her family.
In the video, she shows off her tiny home before the big make-over.
Filming the outdated fixtures and space she said it’s “very old, very small, and totally gross.”
Showing the tranformation, she said: “We have replaced everything.
“From the sheet rock to the flooring, electrical, insulation, light fixtures…
“We put in custom cabinets, all new appliances, granite countertops, a beautiful bathroom – brand new everything in this house.”
The home initially had light brown walls and exposed brick features in the kitchen.
The cramped and outdated bathroom had basic fixtures and white cupboards.
The kitchen then transformed with the sleek and modern countertops and new refrigerator and sink.
The pieces that looked like exposed brick are now a dark shade of green, and the ceiling is painted dark and has small lights in it.
Meanwhile, the bathroom looks entirely different with white tiles, a marble sink, a new toilet, and a more fitted tub.
The renovated space looks brighter and more spacious than before.
One follower replied saying: “It’s gorgeous!”
Another asked about the cost and one person estimated that could have been around $30,000.
They wrote: “13k plus light and water etc probably 30k.”
Amber also shared to her TikTok another clip showing how her husband is incredibly skilled at DIY.
She shared a clip of her husband in a digger making a huge hole in their back yard.
She captioned it: “My man…”
The video explained that her husband was in the process of building her a pool for Mother’s Day.
