Puppy 'saved owner's life' by chewing his big toe 'to the bone' while he slept

A retired builder whose puppy chewed at his toe while he was sleeping probably had his life saved by the animal. David Lindsay, 64, from Cambridge, had fallen asleep on a sofa at his home, only to wake and see his right big toe covered in blood.
