Brits will have an extra bank holiday on May 8 to celebrate King Charles’ coronation this year.

These are the dates for next month’s bank holidays:

• May 1, 2023 – Early May bank holiday
• May 8, 2023 – Bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III
• May 29, 2023 – Spring bank holiday
