Atlanta DA Calls For Attorney In Georgia's Trump Probe To Be Removed
Attorney Kimberly Debrow, who is representing ten of the Georgia fraudulent electors, has now come into the crosshairs of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis as another scandal has emerged. Debrow, a former assistant DA, firm partner, and law professor in Georgia, was paid by the state's Republican party to represent fake electors, but she blew it.
According to the filing, Debrow was ordered by the court to offer her clients immunity, and Debrow's associate reportedly told the court that they had. However, under questioning by Fani Willis before the grand jury, the fake electors said they had received no immunity offer. Debrow might need to lawyer up. This sounds like disbarment territory.
The Washington Post reports:
An Atlanta-area district attorney investigating whether former president Donald Trump and his allies broke the law when they sought to overturn Trump's 2020 election loss in Georgia asked a judge to disqualify an attorney representing some of the Republican "fake electors" who signed certificates falsely stating Trump had won the election in Georgia, claiming the attorney did not tell her clients they had been offered immunity deals in the case.
