I was stunned to find ‘world’s longest bran flake’ in my breakfast… it’s massive
A CEREAL fan was bowled over at breakfast — by what he says is the world’s longest Bran Flake.
Harvey Jennings, 23, was prepping his first meal of the day when out fell the high-fibre mega-shard, 10cm long (4ins) and 2.5cm wide (1in).
The staggered school science technician struggled to fit it into his bowl so showed it off to family and friends instead.
Harvey said: “They are stunned.
“It’s got the be the biggest Bran Flake, surely?
“If I wanted to eat it I would have to break it up and I’d need a lot of milk.”
Regular-sized Tesco Bran Flakes are around a fifth of the size.
Harvey, from Chelmsford, Essex, is now researching to see if he has a world record.
Earlier this year an eBay user in Cambridge put a framed 8.6cm by 7.3cm Bran Flake up for sale for a whopping £163,000.
Tesco said: “We are cereal-sly impressed by this.
“If he would like to say cheerio, he can return it to us for a full refund.”
