Mark Wright shows off mirrors inside his incredible Mallorca apartment he shares with wife Michelle Keegan
MARK Wright has given a sneak peek inside his Mallorca apartment as the stunning holiday home takes shape.
Last month, the former TOWIE star, 36, opened up on his villa “nightmare” as he was forced to visit the site to correct builders’ mistakes.
Thankfully for Mark, who shares his Mallorca property with wife Michelle Keegan, 35, things are on the up.
On his Instagram page he captured one of his team painting a wall a fresh shade of cream.
A page for the painters Iconic Decor told how they were putting in 12-hour shifts to give the pad a full coat as they wrote on their caption: “Colour going on finally!”
Mark re-posted and added: “Boys killing it out in Mallorca, can’t wait to get back out there and see the progress!!”
In a later slide, Mark gave a glimpse at the chic marble-style bathroom.
Another tradesman for designer Justine Knox was busy working away and wrote in their caption: “Getting new mirrors measured up for @wrighty’s new place here in Mallorca.”
He could be seen with a tape taking figures for the huge mirror above the sink.
Mark and Michelle are no stranger to home renovation after they transformed a mock Tudor house into a stunning £3.5million mansion in Essex.
However, back in March things weren’t going so well over in sunny Spain, as the presenter and a team of builders were forced to visit after discovering his hired workers had “created problems”.
After arriving at the apartment, Mark very quickly realised he had a six week job on his hands, but just two-and-a half-weeks to complete it.
He explained how he bought the flat a year ago before he enlisted some builders to spruce the place up.
But the former TOWIE star said he wasn’t happy with their work and decided to head over and sort the job out himself.
“I bought an apartment just over a year ago, and left it in the hands of some builders that I didn’t know, it wasn’t that I wasn’t happy with the look,” he told Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden.
“There was just lots of problems that were created, they tried to cut corners. So then I spoke to another company and the price wasn’t matching up with what I had in mind, and I just thought, DIY, got to sort it myself.”
On Heart Radio, when asked if Michelle was helping the situation, Mark joked that she kept sending messages asking if they’d arrived at the villa yet.
