2023 NFL Draft props: Paris Johnson Jr. isn't leaving the top 10
Paris Johnson Jr. has it all.
He’s an offensive tackle with prototypical size at 6-foot-6, 311 pounds. He was the anchor for an Ohio State team that made last year’s College Football Playoff. And, while he’s a little inexperienced — he made just 15 starts as an amateur — Johnson Jr. could morph into a perennial Pro Bowler at the next level when all is said and done.
That’s why it would be a shock to see someone of Johnson Jr.’s stature and profile fall past the Top 10.
Oddsmakers may have watched the “tape,” or they just see how scouts are talking about the 21-year-old. It doesn’t matter because I agree. The best offensive tackle prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft isn’t waiting long on Thursday night. Someone, be it the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 7 overall or the Chicago Bears at No. 9, will make Johnson Jr. part of their hopeful long-term future.
Prediction: Paris Johnson Jr. Under 9.5 (-290)
