I got skinny-shamed by a bigger woman in Starbucks – she was just jealous, I know I’m a 10
A WOMAN who insists she’s a 10/10 has revealed how she got skinny-shamed by a larger customer whilst ordering at Starbucks.
Monica Lynne, a fashion and beauty fan from the US, was about collect her order at Starbucks when the nasty incident occurred.
According to Monica, she was waiting in the line to grab her drink when she noticed a couple walking into the store.
The couple, the stunner said, was a ”bigger woman” accompanied by a bloke who looked like ”he probably works out every single day of his life”.
Although the gym fanatic looked ”tasty” in Monica’s eyes, her opinion of the duo very quickly changed when his partner made a remark.
”I went to get my drink with all my little pumps and stuff and then she […] says ‘Must be nice to be a skinny b**ch and drink whatever you want’.”
Despite believe she was whispering under hear breath, the woman didn’t realise Monica could hear every single word she has just murmured.
”It would’ve been so easy for me to just turn around and call her fat,” the Starbucks fan went on in her video.
But instead, Monica decided to take things one step further and came up with an even better response.
”I’m not gonna body-shame you, boo, and I’m not going to hurt your feelings by calling you fat.
”You know what will hurt your feelings though?
”I turned around and looked at her and I said ‘Well, at least my husband’s not cheating on me’.”

At that point, Monica instantly saw the lady’s face drop and the man turned ”bright red”.
The sudden change in their behaviour told Monica ”everything” she needed to know.
”That was a stab in the dark. But it looks like I hit the f**king spot.”
Monica also hit back at all the trolls commenting on others’ bodies.
”You can’t body-shame somebody that is not ashamed of their body.
”I’m a mother-f**king ten. Ain’t s**t about this body you’re gonna make me feel bad about – I look good.”
After hearing the story, over a thousand of social media users flocked to comments where many praised Monica.
”But If you said something to her about being “fat” there would’ve been an uproar lol. Skinny people get body shamed just as much as “fat” people,” one person reckoned.
Another agreed, writing: ”you handled that.”
”I wish my brain had reflexes like that… like dang my Brain is a 3-5 business day in wait time before I could think of a potential clever response,” someone else joked.
”My type of energy!” a forth added.
In response to those who thought the remark was a ”compliment”, Monica said: ”Maybe it’s a compliment for YOU.
”Maybe you have trouble staying thin. Or want to be thinner. I don’t. I look like this naturally.”
