I paid £65 for my first tattoo, it’s tiny but looks awful – I live in regret but luckily most people never spot it
WE ALL know someone who impulsively got ink done, but has since regretted the decision.
And one woman, Mikaely, knows this feeling all too well as she got a tiny, yet expensive tattoo that looks awful.
Replying to a viewer who said: “oh god how much did y’all pay for that,” [sic] she replied by saying she forked over £65 ($80).
In the short clip, she zoomed in on her face as she flipped her bottom lip to reveal a small smiley face inked.
She ended the video by laughing and added in the caption: “we paid for the experience”. [sic]
People were quick to flock to the comments section as one person wrote: “This is a core memory though! My friend and I have matching tattoos of hearts but they are both awful and don’t look like hearts,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Mikaely, who is known as @makeupwithmikaely on social media platform TikTok, replied: “It’s forsure a good icebreaker”.
Another person said: “I got my whole spine done for that,” to which she responded: “Surely inflation is responsible”.
A third echoed: “I would’ve disputed that charge so fast”.
Mikaely, who said it was her first ever tattoo, then explained that she had to pay in cash over card.
And when one person asked if it “hurt”, the make-up artist said: “I honestly don’t remember, I blacked out lmao”.
“It should have been free,” another argued, while another shared: “i got half a sleeve for $80,” alongside three crying with laughter emojis.
But others pointed out that the price was a “minimum” for many tattoo shops.
“Idk why everyone is surprised….$80 is the minimum for a lot of shops,” one said.
