Mining luminary of South Africa’s shaft-sinking boom period at the beginning of the millennium Nigel Townshend is back in action as the newly appointed nonexecutive chairperson of United Mining Services (UMS) Limited. Since the start of this month, Townshend has been at the top table of UMS, an underground mining and metallurgical processing solutions company.
