My mate taught me the best hack to never leak when asleep on your period – all you need is a single square of loo roll
A WOMAN has recounted her mate’s clever hack to avoid any leaks while sleeping on your period at night.
Taking to her TikTok account, the raven-haired beauty explained that this is a trick for all the girls who’ve ever experienced the pains of replacing the sheets in the middle of the night.
“This one’s for my girlies,” @paivajulia said as she clasped her hands together.
“When we get our periods, we get a little stressed that we’re going to leak on our sheets at night, right?
“I think everyone goes through that… The long-a** pads, we don’t need them anymore.”
She then explained that she has a hack that’s “weird” but works wonders for this very situation.
“My friend showed me years ago in elementary school… And I have never leaked in my bed since,” she continued.
@paivajulia admitted that the one exception to the rule is if she’s ever slept on her stomach and rolled to the front.
She went on: “But, I got the hack for you.”
Producing a single square of loo roll, she said: “One square, it’s all you need. For me, at least, it’s what I use. You got a heavier flow? Use more than one square.”
She then rolled the loo roll into a small rectangle before joking: “You’re not going to feel it. We’ve worn thongs thicker than this.”
“And you’re going to stick it in between your butt cheeks and I promise, this will change your life and you will never leak again,” she boldly claimed.
“It acts like an absorbent,” she continued. “Try it, trust me…”
In the caption, she added: “I promise you it works”.
People were left intrigued by the hack as one person said: “omg i feel like this will be game changing. I can’t wait for my period now just to try this”. [sic]
Another joked: “I’ll need a whole roll. That little square won’t save me”.
A third shared: “I’ve been doing this for ages, also during the day so my pad lasts a bit longer. I’ve seen reusable material ones too which might be more comfortable!”
Others said they were more comfortable using period diapers, while some swore by their night time pads.
And one person said: “I sleep on a towel lol”. [sic]
