A self-sampling kit developed by a Vadodara startup - the first such kit developed indigenously in the country - to collect samples for screening women for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) that is responsible for a large majority of cervical cancer cases has got approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).
