Mum horrified when toddler comes home from nursery with a VERY inappropriate sticker – then realises her awkward mistake
A MUM was left horrified to discover her child had been sent home from nursery with what she thought was a very inappropriate sticker.
But just as the parent decided to complain to the pre-school staff, she quickly realised her awkward mix-up.
Social media user @thebusiesttoddler took to her TikTok account to explain exactly what had happened.
She revealed that she picked up her little one from the nursery to discover she’d been given a sticker which was now on her water bottle.
However, the mum was flabbergasted to see what looked like a marijuana leaf stuck in the centre.
So she decided to call the staff for an explanation – but she quickly caught on to her mistake and worked out she’d got the wrong end of the stick.
Sharing a video of the water bottle in question, @thebusiesttoddler wrote alongside it: “POV: Your child comes home with this sticker from daycare and you pick up the phone to enquire.”
She then spun the bottle upside down to reveal what it really was – a dragonfly that had been stuck on by her kid upside down.
Under the clip, which had Britney Spears’ hit Oops I Did it Again playing in the background, she hinted that she’d been left red-faced by her error.
She added a string of hashtags, which included “oops”, “dragonfly” and “#daycare.”
But luckily the mum saw the funny side and decided to share it on her social media account.
And the video, which has now gone viral with almost 100k likes, has also been the source of entertainment for lots of other parents.
Lots wrote to say the blunder had had them in hysterics.
One said: “Omg!! I’m done!”
Another added: “Who thought making it solid green would be a good idea?”
A third commented: “I like her way best!”
While others said there was a tell-tale sign that the mum had missed.
One pointed out that a marijuana leaf has seven points, whereas the dragonfly only looked like it had five.
They typed: “Pot leaves have 7 points!”
While a second said: “You’re a couple of leaves off.”
