Hunt for fiance of teacher found dead as police say unborn baby did not survive

A murder investigation has been launched into the death of heavily pregnant teacher Marelle Sturrock as officers continue to search for her fiance.

Officers are looking for David Yates, who went missing after Marelle was found dead at her home in Glasgow on Tuesday morning.

In an update on Thursday, Police Scotland confirmed she was 29 weeks pregnant at the time she was killed and her unborn baby did not survive.
