Creep who had sex with wife on bollard in vile act of revenge on horrified neighbour after parking row avoids jail
A CREEP who had sex with his wife on a bollard in a vile act of revenge on his neighbour following a parking row has avoided jail.
Lee Craig McConnell targeted Wendie Bryant after she put the metal post in to stop him parking his VW campervan in her space.
The outraged 28-year-old first performed a sex act on himself outside his home before calling his wife over.
Wearing nothing but a pair of flip flops, McConnell then had sex up against the drainpipe before they romped near the 2ft bollard.
Locals on the quiet cul-de-sac in Blandford, Dorset, were left stunned by the three-minute lewd act.
They told Wendie the following morning, who was horrified when she looked back through her CCTV.
McConnell has now avoided jail after admitting indecent exposure at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court.
He was instead ordered to pay Wendie £250 for the distress he put her through.
The court was told McConnell and his wife were left so ashamed by their public act of revenge they have been forced to move.
Tensions between the neighbours grew after McConnell began parking his campervan in Wendie’s designated parking space.
She asked McConnell’s wife if he could move the car, leading him to storm round to her house the next day and accuse her of upsetting his newborn baby.
Eventually, Wendie bought a £72 parking bollard to put on her parking space, which was later damaged.
As a result, she installed CCTV cameras that cover the spot.
On October 27, a neighbour told Wendie she saw McConnell and his wife having sex outside the previous night.
Prosecutor Siobhan Oxley said: “She checked the CCTV footage which showed at 11.11pm the defendant was standing on the parking space completely naked other than a pair of flip flops and he appeared to be talking to someone else.
“Mrs Bryant then sees the partner of the defendant come out and she kisses the defendant and they then engage in sex behind the bollard.
“It caused Mrs Bryant considerable distress and she was prescribed medication to deal with the anxiety.”
Just hours before the act, Wendie’s husband Colin, 70, had been rushed to hospital with health complications from an earlier stroke – leaving her home alone.
She said: “I just don’t understand what he did that night. How the hell did it get to this?
“I didn’t see it that night but a neighbour saw it happening live and told me the next morning so then I checked the CCTV.
“There were people walking past in the street at the time and some of the neighbours got the live performance.
“My first thought was what an idiot. I don’t know what they were thinking.”
Simon Lacey, mitigating, said the offence was a “one-off” and confirmed the “embarrassed” couple have since moved away.
As well as a fine, McConnell was given an 18 month community order, ordered to do 150 hours unpaid work.
