2023 season of the Amputee Football Bundesliga set for kick-off

The Amputee Football Bundesliga is entering its third season. The first two matchdays will be played on 29 and 30 April in St. Leon-Rot. Anpfiff Hoffenheim, Fortuna Düsseldorf, 1. FSV Mainz 05 and SG Nord-Ost will compete against each other on three match weekends, with the reigning champions from Düsseldorf hosting the final tournament afterwards. The outfield players must have a leg amputation or shortening, the goalkeepers an amputated or shortened arm. I am sure that we are in for our most exciting season yet in amputee football," says Dietmar Pfähler, first chairman of the league organisers "Anpfiff ins Leben."
