NFL Draft 2023 Round 1 Order of Picks
The 2023 NFL Draft kicks off tonight (April 27) and it’s sure to be a huge event with lots of viewers.
The draft spans three days – always happening at the end of April. Night one is the first round only. Night two is the second two rounds. Saturday consists of the final 4 rounds.

While picking in the first round, teams usually will consider the highest caliber talent available at the position. These picks are considered college football stars, and usually play immediately in the NFL season. Later draft picks sometimes are considered more developmental picks with players that have potential to be future starters or stars.
