I’m a mom who weighs 155 lbs and did a Walmart swimsuit haul – I couldn’t believe how cheap everything was
A MOM who weighs 155 pounds has shared her Walmart swimsuit haul.
The content creator was blown away by how affordable all the pieces were.
Ashley, a mom and Youtuber (@MonogramMom) shared the haul in a video with her Youtube subscribers.
The influencer shared her sizes for reference: She’s normally a size 8/10 and ordered all the items in a size medium.
She started off her haul with one-piece swimsuits, beginning with a teal stunner, $27, that stood out against her blonde hair.
“I love a good one-piece as a mom of two, I had two C-sections but I’m self-conscious about right here and this is gorgeous,” she said, pointing to her waist.
She was excited about a floral skirt cover-up, $20, that she paired with the one-piece, which gave some coverage to her legs.
Next came a sexier option, a black cutout one-piece, $25, with a scoop-neck back: “Super high-quality and the fabric is nice and thick,” she raved.
For a colorful option, she opted for a pink pinstripe one-piece, $25: “It’s so feminine and cute, I love it,” she said, pointing out the swimsuit’s full coverage bottom and adjustable straps.
Last but not least was a hot pink one-piece, $27, that the YouTuber said was her go-to for a trip to the pool.
Next, the content creator showed off her two-piece pick-ups.
First was a maroon halter top, $21, and a matching bikini bottom with gold belt details, $19.
While she loved the color and the swimsuit quality, she was unsure about the fit on her body.
“I’m just not sure I love this style on my particular body type, I don’t think it accentuates the good, this is definitely a pass for me,” she said.
A similar problem occurred for the next piece — a baby pink top, $21, and bottom with gold hardware details, $19.
“There’s no tummy control, there’s no give, would not recommend this,” she said.
Thankfully, the next two-piece was her favorite — a juniors-sized neon green top, $10, and matching bottom with pink and blue stripes, $8 that she ordered in a size large.
“I love the look of this, it is so gorgeous, especially if you have a little tan,” she said, noting the sheer details on the stripes.
Her last two-piece was also a winner — a halter baby pink top, $10, and leopard-print bottom, $8, in a juniors size large.
“I feel like this is my personality in a bathing suit,” she joked. “It’s so figure-flattering, I love this top… you don’t have to worry about anything hanging out.”
To jazz up the swimsuits, she added a haul of sunglasses and cover-ups to accessorize.
Standouts included a white crochet cover-up, $20, a lace-up hoodie for maximum coverage, $15, and a multi-colored caftan cover-up, $19.
For sunnies, she opted for more classic silhouettes with a brown butterfly pair, $12, a square black pair, $12, and an aviator style, $12.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on her haul.
“Very nice choices you made you look so cute in all of them,” said one commenter.
“I like the black and gold sunglasses the best.”
“Don’t sell yourself short on the ‘No’s,’ you wore all the outfits better than the models! Love the energetic smile and personality!” said another.
