I left school with no GCSEs & was told I’d get nowhere… now I splash the cash on holidays all thanks to my lash firm
IT’S drilled into most of us that education is the most importnat thing if you want to be sucessful.
But one woman has proved that theory wrong after starting her own business and raking in the dosh.
Natalie Dawson, from Manchester, revealed she left school with no GCSEs and was told her lack of formal education would get her “nowhere in life.”
But the 18-year-old proved the naysayers from and now enjoys the finer things in life.
Posting on TikTok, the business owner said she’s been working for herself since she was 16.
Now she reaps the rewards, including posh holidays and expensive hotels.
It’s not all sand, sun and sea for the jetsetter, as she showed what a typical day in her life looks like in a separate video.
Work starts early for pro, and she has loads of clients to see everyday who expect nothing but the best.
Natalie’s lash business is also based in Eccles, Manchester, and she offers a range of treatments including lash extensions, the most expensive of which can set customers back £55.
The beauty fan is also a make-up artist with three years experience and has created some stunning looks on her customers.
Fellow TikTok users were impressed by Natalie’s work ethic, especially considering she’s still so young.
One commented: “Good on you, it’s important to do your best and having them [GCSEs] makes things easier, but it doesn’t define you.”
A second said: “You look gorg and should be so proud of yourself girl.”
“I’m so proud of you,” another wrote.
Not everyone was so supportive of her career, and some people thought her lifestyle was because of her “daddy’s money.”
But another viewer slammed that haters, they said: “All the boys in the comment section are so bitter about their job in McDonald’s.”
