Cyprus receives several hundred evacuees from Sudan

NICOSIA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of foreign nationals have arrived in Cyprus after being evacuated from Sudan, Foreign Ministry spokesman Theodoros Gotsis said on Wednesday.

Gotsis said the evacuees were mostly British nationals, and six military aircraft with some other nationalities also aboard arrived at Larnaca airport on the day.
