A GYM girl has shared her secrets to her “shelf booty.”
She explained that she’s managed to build her butt so that she can “bounce a water bottle on it.”
Danica (@danicadfit) shared her fitness advice video with over 115,000 TikTok followers.
She received a question from a follower: “How do I train my top glutes? My bottoms are fat but the top is hella flat,” they said.
The fitness influencer pulled out all the stops for her answer: “If you want to build a glute shelf so big that you can bounce a water bottle on it, here’s some glute exercises you should be doing,” she said.
She explained that the muscles to target growth are the glute medius which has the main function of stabilizing your pelvis.
“This means that single-leg exercises will be your friend,” she said.
She recommended step-ups, lunge variations, glute medius kickbacks, and hyperextension variation exercises.
The fitness influencer demonstrated all the exercises herself with photos of her performing the variations at the gym.
