SpiceJet CEO Ajay Singh has said that the aviation sector in India will not be affected just because one airline goes down. He stated that while the era of low airfares has helped in boosting air travel in the country, sometimes it also leads to difficulties for airlines. Singh believes that there is a need for more rational airfares in the country, and hopes that the fares will be rational.
