Coronation Street actor unrecognisable 17 years after steamy Sarah Platt affair and quitting fame for ‘normal’ job
CORONATION Street’s Sushil Chudasama looks unrecognisable 17 years after his steamy affair with Sarah Platt.
The actor played Scooter Makuna in 2005 before quitting fame for another job.
The hapless character ended up leaving the cobbles soon after an almighty argument with Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien.
He had only been in the ITV soap for ten months.
Sushil is now working as a business development executive for a safety group – but occasionally returns to his acting roots.
He’s also a BBC presenter for BBC Lancashire.
Sarah has been been at the centre of another love affair in recent weeks.
The factory manager was lured by charmer Damon Hay who slept with her during a hotel meet-up on the ITV soap behind her husband Adam’s back.
Damon and Sarah had been flirting for weeks before finally giving into temptation the night before they expected Damon to be sent behind bars.
However, in a shock twist, Sarah’s husband managed to get the bad boy off his charges after finding a legal loophole and has since struck up a budding friendship and close working relationship with Damon, much to Sarah’s dismay.
Sarah has seen her marriage tested more than ever since her betrayal, including agreeing to have a child she didn’t want with Adam.
