CT man arrested for allegedly peering through Newington woman’s window, exposing himself on two occasions
A New Britain man has been accused of peering through a Newington woman’s window while exposing himself on two different occasions.
Jonathan Grajales-Medina, 31, is expected to appear before a judge in New Britain Superior Court on Tuesday to answer to charges of voyeurism with malice, second-degree stalking-fear of physical safety, simple trespass and second-degree breach of peace.
The 31-year-old was freed on $10,000 bond following his arrest last week, the Newington Police Department said.
Grajales-Medina has been accused of entering a housing complex in Newington on Nov. 4, 2022, and peering through a woman’s window while exposing himself, according to police. Police said there was no relationship between the suspect and the victim.
According to police, Grajales-Medina’s most recent arrest came after he was developed as a suspect in the Nov. 4 incident following an incident at the same woman’s home on Nov. 20, 2022. During the latter case, he has been accused of the same behavior and faces charges of public indecency, voyeurism, second-degree stalking, third-degree criminal trespassing and other charges.
Grajales-Medina was arrested on-site on Nov. 20 before investigators identified him as the suspect in the Nov. 4 incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest. He was freed on a $50,000 bond following his initial arrest.
Grajales-Medina has not entered a plea in that matter, which is expected to be heard in New Britain Superior Court on June 1.
