Tehy survey: Nursing leadership experiencing high turnover due to staffing shortage, workload, and low pay
A survey conducted by Tehy reveals that nursing leaders in Finland are increasingly considering leaving the profession. Inadequate resources, especially the shortage of nurses, is causing significant burden and fatigue for nursing leaders. Mergers of wards and increased patient numbers also contribute to lower well-being and stress levels among leaders. Nursing leaders play a significant role in the healthcare sector in developing the quality of care and cost-effectiveness, especially in new welfare regions, as well as promoting the well-being of personnel.
