In terms of runs in IPL, there are seven Indians and three overseas players in the top 10 list. However, star Indian batters have lagged behind their overseas counterparts when it comes to strike rate. Also, the overseas stars have outperformed the Indians in the average race. All the three foreigners among the top 10 run-scorers have better averages than Indians.
