Mystery as woman in her 20s is found dead at home by baffled cops who say death is ‘unexpected’
MYSTERY surrounds the death of a woman in her 20s at home as cops say it is “unexpected”.
Police were called at 3.46pm today to a house in East Rochester Way in Sidcup, south-east London after concerns for a person’s welfare.
Emergency services attended the scene and provided first aid.
Despite their efforts the woman, aged in her mid 20s, died at the scene.
Police are working to trace her next of kin.
Cops have also said that her death is being treated as unexpected.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called at 15:46hrs on Saturday, 13 May following concerns for the welfare of an occupant at an address on East Rochester Way in Sidcup.
“Emergency services attended and provided first aid.
“Despite their efforts the woman, aged in her mid-20s, died at the scene.
“Officers are in the process of tracing her next of kin.
“The death is being treated as unexpected.”
