Mullins Entertains The Fans
The Baltimore Orioles played host to the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday evening and did not allow them to raise the Jolly Roger, winning by a score of 6-3.
It was a fun but wet night at the yard as the Orioles debuted the Bird Bath section in left field. Fans in section 86 are sprayed with the sprinkler with every extra-base hit; the pitchers turn on the sprinkler from the dugout and the fans get to experience it as well.
A lot of water was used Friday as there were five extra-base hits in the game. Providing the most hydration was Cedric Mullins who hit for the 7th cycle in Orioles history and completed it with an eighth inning three-run homerun. Mullins finished the night going 4 for 5 with a double, a triple, a homerun, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI as well as quite a few wet fans.
